Raft The Electrifying Sarapiquí River – This River has twenty-four class II & III rapids, which makes this the ideal rafting trip for beginners and intermediates. Some rapids over the seven and a half mile course are followed by crystalline ponds to give you a chance to catch your breath. Throughout the vibrant journey, you will enjoy swimming and relaxing in peaceful natural pools. During the three hour tour you will pass through rapids named Air Force, Confusion, Deer, Gringo Hollow, Roller Coaster to name a few. Arenal Volcano mountainous rugged terrain is perfect for hiking and rappelling tropical waterfalls. Your professional tour guide will escort you through a lost canyon as you down climb, river trace and descend spectacular waterfalls. This extremely active sport will use your entire body as you make your way down a striking river canyon and tropical rainforest. After a thorough safety talk you will be issued a pair of gloves, harness and helmet and practice descending a small waterfall. Be prepared to get soaking wet.
